Dear Fellow Members;

On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to congratulate Andy Barbasch, Bob DeGlopper, Ron Molnar and Mike Ziegler on their re-election and to thank John Tommasulo and Rich DeGlopper for running a good campaign.

At the “Special Meeting” on November 9th, two CAR’s were presented to the membership.

CAR # 11H-042I to replace the Pool House roof and Tennis House roof was approved unanimously in an amount not to exceed $6000.

CAR # 11H-08I to remodel the Captain’s Quarters, was approved by over a two-thirds (2/3) majority of members voting, in an amount not to exceed $30,000. There were 77 votes cast, 52-25.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of our Commodore, Tom Grady. Tom died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at home. I know I speak for everyone when I say that Tom and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. Arrangements have not yet been made but will be forthcoming within the next day or so.

I have asked that our flag be lowered to half staff. An announcement will also be made to Inter-Club members as well once the arrangements are known.

This type of news is always a shock whether one expects it or not. Again, please keep the Grady family in your thoughts and prayers.

The Wake hours are Friday at Amigone Funeral Home - 1132 Delaware Avenue Buffalo ( near West Ferry). Hours 2-4 , 7-9.

Funeral Mass is Saturday, 9:30AM at St. Peter and Paul Church - 5480 Main Street – Williamsville.
